Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This page is being updated with full legal language. In the meantime, here's the short version:

What we collect

If you create an account: your email address and hashed password. If you use the app without an account: nothing — your songs are stored locally in your browser.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't serve ads. We don't use third-party tracking pixels. WriteHook uses Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly analytics tool that doesn't set cookies or fingerprint your browser.

Your songs

Songs you write belong to you. We store them only so you can access them across devices when signed in. We never read, share, or train on your content.
